Festival der polnischen Kultur in Greifswald invites you to a public lecture by Prof. Agata Jakubowska, entitled „Polish women artists between «East» and «West»”. Concentrating on two examples – Alina Szapocznikow and Ewa Kuryluk – Prof. Jakubowska will analyse the ways in which their „Eastern Europeanness” has been addressed in art historical studies both before and after 1989.
